Melon’s Handcrafts began in the heart of Newport Beach, California, with a simple wish: to turn the feeling of a slow Sunday beside the ocean into little moments of joy you can hold, collect, gift, and keep close every day.
Hello from our coastal home
It started with a feeling of home.
We love the quiet things that make Newport Beach feel like home: soft light through a window, sea air, warm colors, and afternoons with nowhere to hurry. That feeling became the starting point for Melon’s Handcrafts.
We chose squishies because they bring beauty and play together in such a small, personal way. A sweet face can brighten a shelf; a satisfying squeeze can invite a pause. We’re building our workshop around handmade Taba creations, with room for other lovely squishy finds. Across our collections, we’re drawn to thoughtful details, inviting textures, and little characters you’ll want to spend time with.
